On Sunday, the Lagos State Government confirmed that three coronavirus patients died.
Akin Abayomi, the state health commissioner, in a tweet said the number of deaths from coronavirus has gone up to 28.
“3 more #COVID19 related deaths were recorded, bringing total of such deaths in Lagos to 28,” Abayomi said.
According to the Lagos State Government on Saturday, it discharged 22 coronavirus patients who recovered from the virus.
“The discharged patients- eight females and 14 males, Abayomi said are all Nigerians.
“This Brings the total number of #COVID19 discharged patients in Lagos to 247,” Abayomi said.
On late Saturday, 62 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Lagos State according to the The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), bringing the total number of cases to 1,084.
