Role Overview
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play an essential role in enhancing the customer financial journey through the design, testing, rollout, and expansion of our financial products. Using a data-centric mindset, you will perform in-depth user behavior studies, A/B testing, advanced statistical analyses, and build dashboards that uncover insights to improve customer adoption, engagement, and retention.
Primary Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Create and manage detailed reports to track and assess sales performance.
- Apply forecasting techniques to identify trends and support business planning.
- Introduce automation into data processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Promote a culture of experimentation, using data storytelling to present insights that drive strategic action.
- Collaborate with product, design, research, and engineering teams to translate insights into tangible user and business improvements.
- Guide experimentation efforts—defining KPIs, mentoring team members, analyzing outcomes, and aligning results with strategic goals.
- Support product roadmaps and strategic decisions through metric development and insight-driven discussions with stakeholders.
- Work across departments to connect business needs with effective data solutions.
- Present findings in a clear and impactful manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Tackle analytical problems with creativity and precision to support better decision-making.
- Track and interpret key metrics and trends related to product performance, customer behavior, and company objectives.
Qualifications
To excel in this position, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years’ post-internship experience in data analytics or similar roles, ideally within B2C product or fintech environments.
- Expert-level SQL skills, with a deep understanding of complex queries, data warehouse navigation, and data relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially when addressing broad business issues.
- A track record of effective stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
- A results-oriented approach, focused on insights that lead to measurable improvements.
- Experience solving complex data problems and creating automation solutions to optimize operations.
- Clear and confident communication skills, especially in simplifying technical information.
- Proficiency in leading data experiments and statistical evaluations (e.g., causal inference, A/B testing).
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Ability to create and use performance metrics that drive insights into user behavior and product performance.
