Job Overview
The selected candidate will undergo structured on-the-job training while supporting workshop operations and routine truck maintenance activities. This role is designed to equip young engineering graduates with practical experience in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, safety compliance, and maintenance documentation within a logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support routine servicing and preventive maintenance of trucks and related equipment.

Adhere strictly to workshop safety guidelines, maintenance policies, and operational procedures.

Participate actively in hands-on training sessions and development programs.

Monitor fleet activities using the company’s tracking system to identify preventive maintenance needs.

Assist in diagnosing minor vehicle faults and handling breakdown support under supervision.

Maintain accurate service logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records.

Review basic maintenance data to assist in planning and decision-making processes.
Requirements

B.Eng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

Basic knowledge of vehicle systems will be an added advantage.

Must be a recent graduate or have a maximum of one year of relevant experience.

Strong willingness to learn and grow within a logistics and transport environment.

Candidates residing close to Surulere, Lagos will have an advantage.
