Applications Now Commenced for the UNESCO Internship Programme 2025!

Gain valuable, hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a United Nations specialized agency. The UNESCO Internship Programme offers a unique opportunity to work within one of the Programme Sectors or Central Services, either at Headquarters, Field Offices, or Category I Institutes.

As an intern, you’ll contribute meaningfully to your team’s work while enhancing your technical and professional skills in a dynamic, multicultural environment. Tasks may include research, data analysis, event coordination, documentation, and participation in meetings and workshops.

 Eligibility Requirements:

  • Age: Minimum of 20 years old
  • Education: Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a graduate program (Master’s, PhD, or equivalent)
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in either English or French is required, with a working knowledge of the second language considered an advantage.

Skills: Strong computer, communication, and teamwork abilities

Important Notes:

  • Internships are unpaid
  • Interns receive 2.5 days of leave per month
  • Applications are open year-round
  • Applications remain valid for 6 months
