We are currently hiring for the following role:

Job Title: Public Relations Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of drivers and dispatch riders, making certain they fully adhere to traffic laws and road safety guidelines.
  • Guarantee adherence to internal security protocols and operational procedures.
  • Perform regular checks to confirm that company vehicles are properly equipped with essential tools and accessories.
  • Manage the timely renewal of vehicle insurance policies and necessary regulatory documentation.
  • Coordinate and ensure secure and efficient travel arrangements for staff.
  • Provide prompt updates on traffic situations, road closures, strikes, or any events that may affect company logistics.
  • Enforce department policies aimed at promoting efficiency, compliance, and smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the workplace.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of occupational safety procedures.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external government bodies, including ministries, police, fire services, and local agencies.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with relevant public officials to facilitate cooperative interactions.
  • Ensure full compliance with fire safety regulations in collaboration with designated authorities.
  • Develop and apply preventative measures to manage emergencies or critical incidents.

Candidate Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity within a similar industry.
