Nigerian Agip Exploration
Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) Limited, on behalf of NNPC Limited and NAE PSC, invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian graduates for the 2026/2027 Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to human capital development.
The scholarship supports outstanding Nigerian graduates seeking Master’s degree studies either within Nigeria or at reputable international universities.
Scholarship Categories
- Overseas Scholarship – For study in accredited international universities
- Local Scholarship – For study in recognized Nigerian universities
Eligible Fields of Study
Applicants must have secured admission into a one-year Master’s programme in any of the following disciplines:
- Geosciences
- Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical, Offshore, Environmental, Renewable Energy, and related fields)
- Petroleum Economics
- Oil and Gas / Petroleum Law
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a minimum of Second-Class Upper (2:1) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university
- Have secured admission into a relevant Master’s programme (local or overseas, depending on category)
- Be 28 years old or younger as of December 2025
- Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme
- Possess a valid international passport (minimum validity of one year from September 2025) for overseas applicants
- Not be a current or past beneficiary of similar scholarships from NAE or affiliated organizations
- Not be an employee or dependent of NAE or its affiliated companies
Selection Process
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted via SMS and email
- Shortlisted applicants will undergo an aptitude test
- Final selection will be based on merit and performance in the assessment
