We are currently recruiting for the role below:

Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control and instrumentation systems tailored for industrial operations.
  • Identify, specify, and acquire the appropriate instrumentation equipment for both existing systems and new processes.
  • Calibrate, test, and maintain instruments to guarantee operational accuracy and system reliability.
  • Implement and oversee automated control systems to monitor production processes effectively.
  • Ensure all systems and processes adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and support on instrumentation-related concerns.
  • Train and oversee technicians and plant personnel in the use and upkeep of control systems.
  • Continuously track system performance and make adjustments to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations in instrumentation to propose system upgrades.
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines to integrate instrumentation within broader system architecture.
  • Conduct R&D activities to develop new instrumentation technologies or refine existing solutions.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and maintain technical documents, including design plans, operation guides, and maintenance manuals.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Solid foundation in electrical systems and engineering principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
  • Relevant professional certifications in instrumentation or control systems are highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial instrumentation or process automation.
  • Expertise in process control, instrumentation calibration, and diagnosing system faults.
