Description
- Responsible for engineering design, planning, monitoring, and post-analysis to ensure drilling programs are executed safely and efficiently.
- Prepare comprehensive Drilling Basis of Design documents, including elements such as Casing Design, Torque/Drag, and Hydraulics.
- Draft functional specifications and detailed scopes of work for tools and services.
- Drive continuous improvements in regional well construction performance.
- Achieve well delivery targets while maintaining top-tier standards in engineering integrity, safety, and environmental stewardship.
- Offer specialized drilling engineering support to Operations and Development teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field
- Solid experience in well planning and operational execution
- Background in international assignments is essential
- Deep water drilling experience is a plus for deep water engineering roles
- Familiarity with Management, Operations Support, Surveillance, Artificial Lift, Subsurface and Surface Equipment, Wellheads, and Optimization practices
- Offshore experience within local and regional contexts
- Prior exposure to Legacy MPN operations is advantageous
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in well design software and Microsoft Office tools
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Comprehensive industry experience in well planning and implementation
- Advanced knowledge in areas like Wellbore Hydraulics, Completion and Workover Design, Fluid Dynamics, and Well Integrity
