Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Support Analyst III to serve as the primary point of contact for all data-related inquiries and activities. The ideal candidate will support data integrity, configuration management, and optimization efforts across multiple systems and processes.

You will manage data troubleshooting, quality monitoring, bulk data uploads, integration specifications, and drive automation initiatives across SHE Department processes. This role demands a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and experience in oil and gas data environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for data-related inquiries and issues
  • Manage data configuration, monitoring, health checks, and quality control
  • Perform bulk data loads and support data migration, cleansing, and integration
  • Develop integration specifications for inbound and outbound data flows
  • Collaborate with EMIT and non-EMIT teams to resolve data concerns
  • Automate SHE Dept processes (e.g., Lead the Field, LSRA compliance, Dropped Object registrations) using tools such as Nintex Forms, Power BI, Smartsheet, and more
  • Build and manage dashboards for safety observations, critical safeguard verification, and performance analysis
  • Maintain SharePoint sites and ensure effective data presentation and optimization
  • Support IT change control for data systems and integrations
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring data issues
  •  Verify adherence to governance frameworks and internal data standards.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
  • An advanced degree in Statistics or Data Analytics is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, VBA, and related tools
  • At least 1 year of experience in the oil & gas sector
  • Over 10 years of broad industry experience in data analytics and reporting
  • Outstanding communication, visualization, and comprehension abilities for insights based on data
  • Proficiency in relational databases and crafting intricate SQL scripts and queries
  •  Proven effectiveness in automating and optimizing processes
  • Solid understanding of data profiling, quality assurance, and IT frameworks
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Experience in SharePoint and business intelligence systems
