Julius Berger Nigeria Plc is a leading engineering and construction company renowned for delivering complex infrastructure and industrial projects across Nigeria. We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to join our technical team in Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt.

Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems across project sites, workshops, and facilities. You will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable power systems while supporting large-scale construction and infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve electrical systems, including wiring, controls, and power distribution networks
• Conduct diagnostics to identify recurring faults and implement engineering solutions
• Prepare electrical designs, BOQs, cost estimates, and technical evaluations
• Evaluate and optimize power supply systems such as generators, hybrid systems, and renewable energy solutions
• Support project tenders, mobilization, installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, inspection reports, and maintenance procedures
• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians, supervisors, and project teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across electrical operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in industrial, construction, or power systems environments
• Strong experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and system supervision
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and BOQs
• Experience with project execution, commissioning, and contractor coordination
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
