About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor – Earth Moving Equipment to oversee maintenance and repair operations of heavy-duty construction machinery. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal equipment performance, supervise technical teams, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency within the workshop environment.

This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise in earthmoving equipment such as CAT, Liebherr, and JCB machinery, along with proven leadership ability in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance, repair, and servicing of earthmoving equipment
• Allocate tasks and coordinate technicians to ensure efficient workflow execution
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and oversee troubleshooting activities
• Ensure all repairs meet OEM standards and quality requirements
• Conduct inspections on completed work to guarantee operational readiness
• Maintain accurate workshop documentation, job cards, and service reports
• Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
• Mentor and develop workshop technicians to improve technical capability
• Collaborate with management to optimize workshop efficiency and equipment availability

Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• 5–8 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and power systems
• Proven experience supervising workshop operations or technical teams
• Ability to diagnose complex equipment faults and implement effective solutions
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• High attention to safety, quality, and operational standards
• Proficiency in English (B2/C1 level preferred)
