Job Title: Midwife / Staff Nurse
Location: Yaba, Lagos

Role Overview
The Midwife / Staff Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate nursing care to patients in line with hospital policies, professional nursing standards, and clinical best practices. The role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities

Support patient assessment, clinical care, treatment planning, and coordination to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, following approved medication safety standards.

Prepare patient care areas and ensure patients are fully ready for admission, surgical procedures, and discharge.

Assist with pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, ensuring all required equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.

Monitor patients’ health status and promptly communicate any changes or concerns to the attending physician.

Educate patients and caregivers on medication usage, discharge guidelines, and follow-up care requirements.

Maintain clear, timely, and accurate nursing records using the hospital’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system and relevant charts.

Uphold professional ethics, teamwork, and patient-centered care at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license.

Registered Midwife (RM) certification is an added advantage.

Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on clinical experience, preferably in a hospital setting with exposure to midwifery.

Strong understanding of nursing procedures, patient safety standards, and clinical protocols.

Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and commitment to quality patient care.
Salary
₦180,000 – ₦200,000 per month
