Job Overview
A skilled Area Sales Manager is needed to join the Lagos team at Bühler Group. The role will primarily focus on driving business growth in Ghana while also covering Liberia, Gambia, and Sierra Leone. You will be responsible for expanding our market share and customer base while reinforcing Bühler’s brand and presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities
This is where you’ll make an impact:
- Identify potential customers and develop long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Keep your product knowledge up to date and create compelling sales materials.
- Execute market strategies and promote retrofit solutions and standard plant packages for key sectors.
- Implement Key Account Management practices and maintain relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
- Address and resolve client concerns efficiently.
- Ensure customer data is accurately maintained in CRM systems.
- Provide specialized technical advice to clients within your region.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to customize solutions and lead project quotations and sales negotiations.
- Expand Bühler’s footprint across assigned territories.
- Analyze customer needs and align them with Bühler’s offerings.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bring the following to succeed in this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Processing, or Business Management.
- Additional training in sales or a technical discipline is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a related industrial position is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
