About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Auditor to join our Quality & Safety team. This position involves conducting thorough audits of maintenance operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal procedures, and industry best practices. The successful candidate will play a critical role in improving operational safety, identifying risks, and enhancing maintenance documentation and performance.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth audits of aircraft maintenance activities, documentation, and procedures

Ensure all maintenance processes align with Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig. CAR) and internal standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to schedule and execute audit plans

Prepare clear audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions

Maintain comprehensive records of audit outcomes, follow-ups, and resolution statuses

Provide feedback and share insights with senior management, quality assurance, and engineering teams

Validate maintenance documents including logbooks, work orders, and compliance records

Support ongoing updates to audit procedures in line with evolving aviation regulations and industry trends

Identify safety gaps and operational risks during audits and recommend effective solutions

Partner with the Safety Department to ensure continuous enhancement of safety protocols in maintenance operations
Requirements & Qualifications

HND or B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering or a related technical field

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the maintenance and audit department of a commercial airline

Strong working knowledge of aviation standards and regulations (NCAA, Nig. CAR)

Background in quality assurance, safety oversight, or regulatory compliance is an advantage

Excellent documentation and reporting skills

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with auditing tools, digital record systems, and maintenance tracking software
-
Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage
