Job Overview

We are looking for skilled and result-oriented Business Development Officers to help drive our retail funding initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about relationship management, financial product promotion, and sales strategy execution. Your primary responsibility will be to source retail funds from individuals, cooperatives, associations, and other suitable channels while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute strategies to attract retail funding and strengthen the existing customer base.

• Establish and maintain productive relationships with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.

• Drive business performance by negotiating funding deals and closing transactions in line with company objectives.

• Offer feedback on customer behavior, market conditions, and competitor activity to guide business strategy.

• Work closely with internal teams to promote financial services and enhance customer engagement.

• Perform market research and competitor tracking to stay informed on industry trends and funding opportunities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in any relevant discipline.

• 3–5 years’ experience in business development, marketing, or sales within the financial services sector.

• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
