Your Mission
As a Senior Account Manager, you will take the lead in developing and nurturing high-value partnerships with Glovo’s top-tier clients in Nigeria. This position combines business acumen and data-driven analysis with relationship-building expertise to drive long-term success for both Glovo and its strategic partners.
The Journey
- Take full ownership and maintain a 360º view of the performance and relationship of Nigeria’s Top Partners with Glovo.
- Understand partner goals and challenges, offering data-backed solutions and strategic guidance.
- Utilize analytics to identify opportunities that maximize growth and profitability for both parties.
- Drive long-term plans around Growth, Promotions, Advertising, and Operational strategy in Nigeria.
- Boost revenue via commission renegotiation and effective asset monetization.
- Collaborate across departments, including Operations, Marketing, Corporate, and Customer Service to implement tailored partner solutions.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with top-tier partners and transition them into Glovo’s preferred partner status.
Requirements
What you will bring to the ride:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Account Management and Business Development, preferably in a tech startup, leading consultancy, or major tech brand.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential; knowledge of additional data analytics tools is an added advantage.
- Excellent persuasive communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value to partners and key stakeholders.
- Good judgment, assertiveness, and a proactive mindset—comfortable owning decisions and learning from mistakes.
- A strong feeling of accountability and a willingness to take initiative. You thrive in busy environments and possess a strong sense of purpose.
- Analytical thinker with a knack for solving problems using data.
- Strong commercial insight and excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage complex challenges while staying detail-oriented and highly organized.
