Job Title: Software Tester

Job Summary
The successful candidate will have strong expertise in Functional and Usability Testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual test plans, test cases, and scripts with emphasis on functionality and user experience across API, web, and mobile platforms.
- Design and execute test cases for backend APIs and third-party integrations.
- Apply analytical and mathematical reasoning to validate workflows, complex calculations, and data processing within products.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing while documenting and tracking defects.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and analysts to gain deep product knowledge and identify potential risks.
- Contribute to automation by creating and maintaining automated test scripts for API, web, and mobile apps (using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in sprint planning with accurate test effort estimations.
- Provide detailed feedback, maintain test documentation, and track quality metrics.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on testing best practices and tools for API, web, and mobile.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for cross-platform testing.
- To guarantee the scalability and dependability of the product, run load and performance tests.
- Perform data validation and database testing to ensure accuracy and consistency across backend systems.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline, or comparable work experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively.
- Practical knowledge of both automated and manual testing for web, mobile, and API apps.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software development life cycle, and CI/CD practices.
