We are currently hiring to fill the position below:
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Cost Estimation & Planning:
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, project budgets, and bills of quantities for various construction works.
Tender Management:
Support in the preparation of tender documents, pricing evaluations, and assessment of contractor submissions.
Contract Administration:
Develop, review, and manage contracts involving clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Financial Control:
Track and manage project budgets, oversee expenditures, and conduct ongoing cost assessments throughout the project phases.
Valuation & Payments:
Prepare interim valuations and payment requests for completed work; review and approve subcontractor payment claims.
Risk & Value Management:
Identify potential risks, propose cost-effective solutions, and ensure optimal project value is achieved.
Project Reporting:
Generate regular cost reports, forecasts, and finalize financial accounts at project close.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all cost control activities adhere to applicable laws and contractual agreements.
