Job Description

This is a high-level position in charge of managing the line’s procedures, maintenance, and equipment technology.

You will serve as the subject matter expert in line technology.

How You Will Contribute
You will:

  • Support line leaders in achieving SQCDSM targets (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Morale) and ensure process stability; attend DMS meetings at shift and line levels
  • Own the equipment technology, process, and centerline settings with advanced technical expertise; manage Progressive Maintenance systems and KPIs, along with Centerline Management systems; oversee the line’s Repairs & Maintenance budget
  • Create and implement preventive and time-based maintenance plans, while building technician capability to maintain their equipment; spend at least 50% of your time developing technical and maintenance skills in the team; lead PM Pillar systems and processes at the line level and some at the department level
  • Work with the Asset and Reliability team for systems improvement and special maintenance tasks; manage Change Management, spare parts localization, breakdown analysis, and R&M cost reduction for the line; represent the site in regional and global technology forums
  • Support VSU activities for new projects and enable the VSU team; assist in benchmarking activities; serve as a subject matter expert for specific component categories and train plant personnel on PM-related topics

  • In-depth knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance Step 4 and Progressive Maintenance Step 3 systems, independently maintaining equipment in basic conditions; executing AM, PM (breakdown and planned maintenance) standards, and using TPM Phase 3 & 4 problem-solving tools
  • Ability to serve as Line Leader by developing a master plan, managing IDPs, and coaching team members on performance and career growth
  • Capability to lead a line role, mentor SWP owners, and address common issues using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Adjust) method

Education / Certifications

  • Mechanical engineering HND or BSc from an accredited school

Job-specific Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
  • Strong ability to adapt and take initiative
  • Proficiency in computer usage
