Human Resources Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations in our medical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, support workforce planning, and maintain a productive, safe, and compliant environment that meets industry guidelines.


Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for technical, production, and administrative roles.

  • Ensure onboarding processes meet manufacturing and medical compliance standards.

  • Maintain talent pipelines for critical roles (machine operators, QC staff, technicians).

2. Employee Relations & Welfare

  • Address employee concerns professionally and implement conflict resolution strategies.

  • Monitor staff morale and implement programs that enhance employee engagement.

  • Manage attendance, disciplinary actions, and performance-related matters.

3. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure HR operations comply with medical manufacturing regulatory bodies and labour laws.

  • Maintain updated employee records, contracts, training logs, and compliance documents.

  • Support internal and external audits (GMP, ISO standards, regulatory inspections).

4. Training & Development

  • Coordinate mandatory safety, GMP, SOP, and compliance training sessions.

  • Identify skill gaps and recommend upskilling programs for production and QC teams.

  • Track and document all employee certifications and training completion.

5. Health, Safety & Facility Support

  • Collaborate with HSE teams to enforce safety rules and incident-reporting processes.

  • Support workplace hygiene, PPE compliance, and injury-prevention programs.

  • Ensure proper workforce rostering to meet production demands.

6. Payroll & HR Administration

  • Prepare payroll inputs, manage leave schedules, and process employee benefits.

  • Track overtime, shift allowances, and statutory deductions accurately.

  • Oversee HR reporting, metrics, and monthly workforce analytics.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Admin, or related field.

  • 2–5 years HR experience (manufacturing or medical industry preferred).

  • Strong understanding of labour laws and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience with performance management and employee disciplinary procedures.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a production-driven environment.

  • Proficiency with HR software and MS Office tools.


Preferred Attributes

  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001/13485, or medical production standards.

  • Ability to coordinate shift teams and manage a multi-level workforce.

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
