Job Title: Administrative Officer

Job Description
The Administrative Officer will provide administrative, clerical, and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the transformer repair and motor rewinding division. This role includes overseeing office operations, documentation, procurement assistance, HR support, and compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration & Coordination
- Manage daily office functions, including record-keeping, correspondence, and filing.
- Oversee office supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communication (calls, emails, letters).
Operations & Client Support
- Work with workshop teams to track project status and update clients as needed.
- Support in preparing quotations, service agreements, and work orders.
- Address client inquiries to maintain a positive service experience.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to company policies and labor regulations.
- Assist in implementing workplace safety guidelines in partnership with the HSE officer.
- Maintain records of inspections, safety drills, and compliance reports.
HR & Employee Support
- Manage attendance, leave records, and staff timesheets.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation.
- Coordinate staff training, welfare initiatives, and communication between management and employees.
Procurement & Inventory Management
- Assist with the purchase of materials, spare parts, and workshop tools.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and stock updates.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure prompt delivery.
Finance & Documentation Support
- Support the accounts team with invoices, receipts, and petty cash management.
- Maintain documentation for job orders, repair records, and service reports.
- Ensure compliance documents such as contracts, licenses, and filings are properly managed.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related discipline.
- Solid knowledge of office systems and record management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to collaborate with technical staff and understand workshop operations.
- 2–5 years of administrative experience, preferably in engineering, technical, or manufacturing settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Salary
₦200,000–₦250,000 monthly.
