Job Summary
Globe Telly Services is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling abilities and hands-on experience editing both broadcast and digital content. You will collaborate with reporters, producers, camera operators, and senior editors to produce high-quality visual content across television and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for television broadcasts and digital platforms, including interviews, news segments, documentaries, and social media content
- Enhance video quality by adding captions, transitions, lower thirds, motion graphics, sound effects, and background music
- Optimize video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels
- Ensure all video outputs meet broadcast standards and align with the company’s editorial and visual identity
- Organize, manage, and archive video footage, project files, and media assets
- Select and sequence footage, audio clips, and camera angles to create compelling narratives
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high production quality
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in video editing within a media house, broadcast environment, or content production agency
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
- Strong motion graphics skills, including titles, lower thirds, and transitions
- Ability to create on-brand graphic elements for both broadcast and digital platforms
- Strong sense of pacing, visual storytelling, and creative composition
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- A strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating relevant editing and design work (mandatory)
- Motion graphics and graphic design experience is an added advantage
