We are seeking an experienced Structural Construction Manager to oversee large-scale building construction projects in Lagos. The successful candidate will lead site operations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that all structural works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
This role requires strong technical expertise in structural engineering, proven leadership on complex construction sites, and the ability to manage subcontractors and project execution in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise site construction teams across structural works
- Manage daily site operations and coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors
- Ensure project delivery aligns with approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Oversee structural works including reinforcement, formwork, and concrete execution
- Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular site reports
- Support planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities
- Review and manage change orders, documentation, and site instructions
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in large-scale building construction projects
- Strong knowledge of structural works and site execution processes
- Proven leadership experience managing site teams and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards (HSE compliance)
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver within strict deadlines
