Job Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities and ensuring that assigned projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and within budget. The role involves close collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure that project objectives are achieved while maintaining high technical and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

  • Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for materials, labor, and equipment

  • Monitor project progress and ensure activities remain within approved budgets and timelines

  • Manage project finances by tracking costs and adjusting plans where necessary

  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to engineering designs or project execution

  • Assist in negotiating and resolving contractual or technical challenges

  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery

  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders

  • Support project planning and implementation across oil & gas and maritime engineering projects


Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates interested in the role should meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline)

  • At least 3 years of experience in project engineering or a related role

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost estimation and financial monitoring

  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and simulation tools

  • Good understanding of engineering safety standards and regulatory compliance

  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities

  • Experience using project management software
