Position Overview
We are seeking a People Cost Planning Manager to oversee compensation strategy, budgeting, and employee rewards for our Nigeria operations. The ideal candidate will design competitive and efficient compensation systems aligned with company standards and market trends.
Main Responsibilities

Develop, review, and maintain effective compensation and benefits strategies for Nigeria.

Ensure all reward policies align with corporate principles and functional needs.

Conduct regular market analysis to keep salary structures competitive.

Manage people cost budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on both monthly and annual bases.

Support employee engagement initiatives through total rewards and motivation programs.

Collaborate with the business planning function to align compensation plans with overall goals.

Maintain relationships with external compensation consultants and service providers.

Continuously evaluate and improve compensation processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Assess job roles, recommend grading adjustments, and maintain salary range structures.

Monitor and enhance variable reward systems across departments, especially Supply Chain.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree with 5–7 years of experience in compensation, rewards, or finance.

Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws.

Proven ability in compensation design and implementation.

Excellent analytical, numerical, and financial skills.

Proficient in planning, organization, and project management.

Skilled in coaching, people development, and change management.

Demonstrated capacity for systematic and analytical thinking.
