We have recently commissioned new facilities at our Ibeju Lekki yard, including a Confined Space Entry (CSE) simulator and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Fit Testing training stations, to better serve clients in the oil and gas industry, factories, and industrial processing plants.

Job Title: Process Safety Engineer
Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Position Summary
We are looking to hire a Process Safety Engineer with hands-on experience in gas testing, process safety procedures, confined space operations, LOTO, and machine guarding. The role will involve working in industrial environments such as tank farms, FPSOs, vessels, manholes, and power plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate training sessions for clients on Process Safety Management, Confined Space, PTW, and LOTO
- Develop and sustain Process Safety Management systems aligned with OSHA 1910.119 and API RP 754
- Oversee activities related to LOTO, CSE, PTW, Fall Protection, and Machine Guarding
- Manage simulator-based gas testing training both in-house and at client sites
- Conduct training and lead sessions on hazard analysis techniques, including HAZOP, job hazard analysis, and what-if scenarios
Required Qualifications and Certifications
- B.Sc or HND in Chemical, Process, Mechanical Engineering, or a related science field
- Possession of certificates in Gas Testing, Confined Space Attendant, or Fire Watch is a plus
- Location Requirement: Applicants must reside between Ajah and Ibeju-Lekki axis
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in process safety or within the oil and gas, chemical plant, or vessel operations sector
- HSE-related certifications are required—such as NEBOSH Diploma, OPITO, STCW, or Marine-related credentials
