Job Summary

As a Training Analyst at Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, you will be instrumental in improving workforce performance and strengthening organizational effectiveness through strategic, data-informed training solutions. You will assist in the design, execution, and evaluation of learning programs that align with our strategic business goals in a dynamic FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across departments to identify skills gaps and development opportunities.
  • Support the digital transformation of learning using e-learning platforms and tools.
  • Coordinate with external training vendors to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  • Prepare insightful training reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
  • Ensure that all training initiatives are compliant with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with HR and department leaders to design and execute strategic training plans.
  • Maintain and update a training calendar, ensuring timely delivery of programs.
  • Monitor and analyze training metrics, feedback, and ROI to continuously improve learning effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, or a closely related discipline.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in training, learning & development, or HR analytics, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical ability and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools is an added advantage.

Organizational & Project Management Skills

  • Training Calendar Management: Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple training programs effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in training records, compliance documentation, and reporting.
  • Time Management: Effectively prioritizing tasks in a high-paced FMCG setting.

Behavioral & Strategic Skills

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive in enhancing training quality and delivery.
  • Business Acumen: Understands the impact of learning programs on business performance.

Core Analytical & Technical Skills

  • Training Needs Analysis (TNA): Expertise in assessing learning requirements and proposing relevant interventions.
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS): Familiarity with tools such as SAP SuccessFactors, Moodle, or equivalents.
  • Digital Learning Tools: Knowledge of e-learning creation tools like Articulate, Adobe Captivate, etc.
  • Data Reporting & Analysis: Skilled in using Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms for reporting training effectiveness.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Presentation Skills: Able to deliver insightful reports and present training outcomes persuasively.
  • Facilitation Skills: Comfortable supporting or leading training workshops and sessions.
