Job Description

We are seeking a Stores Supervisor for our Lagos Depot to oversee inventory and warehousing functions, ensuring consistent service delivery.
This role supports the operations team by handling warehouse documentation and coordinating material storage and movement efficiently.
You will be responsible for analyzing trends and demand rates to manage inventory levels across product categories effectively.
Duties include evaluating and planning basic and seasonal forecasts based on demand history, analytics, and store activity to ensure timely product replenishment.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Manage store operations by scheduling tasks, assigning responsibilities, and following up on results.
  • Supervise all material storage and transfers across Depot/Site, including receipts and dispatches.
  • Approve and validate Material Receipt Notes (MRNs) and Store Issue Vouchers (SIVs) in accordance with purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels at the site/depot to avoid shortages and overstocking.
  • Generate requisitions for items reaching reorder levels or marked as low stock—via MRP Release.
  • Follow up on outstanding items with the JA Material Coordinator and Inventory Controller.
  • Conduct random cycle counts to confirm alignment between physical and system stock records.
  • Lead quarterly inventory audits to ensure complete stock accuracy at your site.
  • Ensure store readiness for audits and scheduled stock counts.
  • Maintain overall housekeeping and organization of the warehouse.
  • Comply with Aggreko’s strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, and adhere to all applicable local regulations and internal procedures.

Requirements

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Must be a Nigerian citizen.
  • Previous experience handling warehousing and inventory in a supervisory capacity.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
