Job Summary
As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
– Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement)
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements
– Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
– Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
– Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
– Collaborate with external auditors and ensure successful audits
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cryptocurrency and accounting
Requirements
– 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in the cryptocurrency or fintech industry
– Professional certification (CPA, CMA, CA)
– Strong understanding of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Experience with financial software and systems (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP)
– Strong communication and leadership skills
Nice to Have
– Experience with cryptocurrency accounting and taxation

– Knowledge of financial planning and analysis
– Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
– Certification in cryptocurrency or blockchain accounting
