Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Python developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our game-changing personal finance platform. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in building and deploying APIs using Django, and a passion for creating solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives.
NOTE: It is necessary that the candidate can work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Job Details
– Position: Junior Python Developer (full-time)
– Experience: 1-2 years
NOTE: Performance will be evaluated at the end of the first week!
Required Skills
– Proficiency in Python programming
– Experience with Django framework
– Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
– Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
– Understanding of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
– Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
– Interest in fintech and open banking technologies is compulsory.

Responsibilities
– Develop and maintain our personal finance application using Python and Django
– Design, implement, and deploy RESTful APIs that integrate with open banking platforms
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features that enhance user experience in tracking, managing, and growing their wealth
– Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
– Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
– Stay updated on fintech trends and open banking regulations in Nigeria
