About the role
Reckitt is on the lookout for a Procurement Manager to bring expertise and strategic vision to our procurement operations. Your responsibilities
In summary, you’ll:
- Support the implementation of categories strategy, sourcing and contracting in line with company’s needs,
- Maintain supplier relationships to be seen as preferred partner in presenting innovation and efficiency projects
- Participate in Commodity Price Risk Management activities, including monitoring commodity feedstock and develops in-depth understanding of market dynamics to proactively advise on risk management.
- Own the financial performances for your categories: drive budget forecasting and reporting.
- Lead negotiation, tenders and projects based on categories strategy
- Work closely with regional/local supply teams to implement supply resilience initiatives to protect NR growth.
- Lead productivity and Savings agenda for the category.
- Ensure all compliance targets are met for the region.
- Support/drive innovation projects along with cross-functional teams.
- Support sustainability agenda in partnership with Suppliers and Global Sustainability Team.
- Drive and integrate sourcing strategies with business and category demands ensuring timely inputs to New Product Developments (NPDs) and OTIF execution of innovation projects.
- Handles & resolves diverse customer, supplier or operational issues when they arise and escalates if not amicably resolved.
The experience we’re looking for
- B.Sc Degree in Social Sciences, Business, Sciences or any other relevant disciplines.
- Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
- 5 years minimum relevant experience in procurement preferably in FMCG with hands on experience in sourcing/procurement in Home & Personal Care. Experience in Packaging Buying is an added advantage.
- Previous Procurement experiences in a multi-country environment required.
- Proven track records handling commodity strategy, driving sustainable supplier relationships and large negotiations.
- Key skills: Organized, analytical, strategic thinking, influential skills with team spirit, able to take responsibility, great relationship management and goal oriented.
- Eager to work in a fast-paced, results driven and demanding environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English is required.
