Junaid Energy Limited (JEL) is a fully integrated natural gas company with operations spanning exploration, production, processing, transmission, and distribution across the oil and gas value chain. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager (Oil & Gas) to oversee operational excellence across our projects and facilities.
Role Overview
The Operations Manager will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Installation (EPCI) projects and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities within upstream, midstream, and downstream facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while aligning performance with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate daily operational activities across oil and gas assets.

Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and regulatory requirements.

Manage operational budgets, track expenditures, and drive cost optimization initiatives.

Prepare periodic performance reports and present key operational metrics (KPIs) to senior leadership.

Supervise and motivate multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Maintain strong working relationships with clients, regulators, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Lead staff development initiatives, including training, mentoring, and performance assessments.

Oversee EPCI projects from conceptual design through commissioning, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.

Monitor production, transportation, and refining operations to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.

4–7 years of relevant industry experience in upstream and midstream operations, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.

COREN registration is required.

Additional certifications in HSE, Project Management, or ISO standards will be an advantage.
