The role involves collaboration across disciplines to enable effective well planning, real-time monitoring, risk mitigation, and precision in offshore or high-pressure drilling environments.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Perform Integrated Pore Pressure Prediction (IP3), site surveys, and shallow hazard evaluations for top-hole prognosis, geomechanics, and monitoring.
  • Work closely with geoscientists, reservoir engineers, and drilling teams to create accurate geological well prognoses and casing designs aligned with geological targets.
  • Evaluate formation data to refine and optimize drilling trajectories.
  • Develop comprehensive Geological Programs detailing well objectives, formation evaluation strategies, operational protocols, and sample distribution plans.
  • Manage and provide technical/logistical support to wellsite geologists and service partners to collect complete, high-quality geological datasets.
  • Compile and disseminate final well reports, logs, and associated documentation promptly.
