Job Title: Methods Engineer – C&P

Duties & Responsibilities
H3SEQ Compliance:
- Strictly follow all H3SEQ policies, procedures, and legal standards.
- Take necessary action to prevent or mitigate immediate safety or environmental risks.
- Actively engage in safety meetings, emergency drills, and H3SEQ-related initiatives.
Support for Supply Chain Tools & Systems:
- Maintain a functional help desk to troubleshoot issues related to C&P software tools.
- Build and regularly update a directory of key contacts in user departments.
- Review and recommend updates for user manuals, procedures, and SC tool instructions.
- Organize continuous training and onboarding for external vendors on e-sourcing and NIPEX tools.
- Initiate Requests for Assistance (e.g., MTKs) to obtain technical support for SAP-related issues.
- Under the guidance of the Performance & Tools Manager, test and validate new upgrades to Supply Chain tools.
- Participate in data clean-up and tool optimization activities impacting Supply Chain processes.
- Perform ongoing checks to enhance tool adoption and improve performance in audits like ASAP or SOX.
Primary IS System Liaison:
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and their relevance for process improvements.
- Address and resolve user inquiries and issues concerning Supply Chain tools throughout the organization.
Training & Compliance Oversight:
- Recommend system profile changes with proper approvals to maintain segregation of duties in SAP.
- Lead onboarding and refresher training sessions for all SC tool users to ensure effective usage.
Context & Work Environment
Given the affiliate’s operational scale and expanding CPNC division, a robust set of digital tools is essential to streamline procurement and supply chain operations. These tools include UNISUP, AGORA, e-sourcing platforms, NIPEX, and Excel/Power BI.
With around 420 active users of the UNISUP Supply Chain module across various locations, it is the Methods Engineer’s responsibility to support proper system use and provide expert guidance on the tools. This position demands both technical knowledge and the ability to teach, support, and diplomatically engage with users.
Accountabilities
- Accurately interpret and reflect business processes within the SC systems.
- Deliver high-quality training and ensure user adoption of SC tools.
- Act as the primary liaison among UNISUP Coordination, MM users, and Supply Chain business stakeholders.
- Lead advocacy and support for all software tools utilized in the affiliate’s supply chain activities.
- Communicate and uphold the district’s stance on the implementation and utilization of Supply Chain tools.
Requirements
Educational & Professional Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum Second Class) in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience within the oil and gas sector.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of SC tools like UNISUP, planning software, e-sourcing platforms, and NIPEX.
- Experience with risk-based auditing and both financial and operational audits.
- Familiarity with LEAN methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (including Macro writing).
- Proficient in using advanced BI reporting tools, particularly Power BI.
- Competency in training delivery and stakeholder engagement.
