Enough Nigeria (EiE)

Through advocacy, activism, and the mobilization of young people as responsible citizens, Enough is Enough Nigeria (EiE) is a coalition of individuals and youth organizations dedicated to establishing a culture of good governance and public accountability in Nigeria. We are not partisan, nor are we a forum for the fulfillment of any one person’s political goals.

By 2015, we want to organize 10 million youth to participate actively in the election process, bridging the nation’s socioeconomic, religious, and ethnic barriers.

We are hiring to cover the following position:

Description of the Job

We are seeking a driven individual with expertise and enthusiasm for blogging, online community building, and content strategy.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • High degree of ease using Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media sites.
  • In both old and digital media, legitimate contact

The following will fall under the purview of the Senior Media Associate:

  • Revise the posting timetable and social media calendar.
  • Twice a week, post pertinent updates to the EiE blog.
  • Voice that is consistent across all content production.
  • Make sure the print materials are delivered by the specified anticipated date.
  • On print documents, there are no design or content errors.
  • Create and send the management a weekly summary of the metrics of every social media interaction.
  • Participate in the annual Social Media Week planning and organization.
  • The capacity to focus on minute details.
  • Recognize how to react to trolls and critical remarks.
  • The capacity to express concepts in writing.
  • The capacity to create appropriate and captivating content.
  • The capacity to recognize, comprehend, and establish trends.
  • Recognize how to interact with audiences on various social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and others.
  • The capacity to communicate in and comprehend a minimum of two local languages in Nigeria.
  • The capacity to collaborate with others to share goals, ideas, and talents.
  • The capacity to create well-informed recommendations and tactics that are considerate of partners’ and stakeholders’ demands.
  • Create a lot of content in accordance with the specifications and brief.
  • Answer every query posted on EiE’s social media channels.
  • Every event owned or hosted by EiE must be live-tweeted.
  • Boost the number of followers on all social media sites, including blogs and Twitter, by at least 15% every three months.
  • Make sure the relevant newspaper receives and publishes EiE’s infographics.
  • Make sure the newsletter is broadcast every week.
  • The capacity to build new relationships and maintain those that already exist with clients, media partners, media vendors, and audiences.
  • Knows how to interact with audiences on various social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and others.
