Job Summary

The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for creating and implementing effective maintenance plans and schedules to ensure smooth and reliable operation of all CAP Plc equipment and facilities. The role involves analyzing equipment performance data, coordinating maintenance activities to reduce downtime, and ensuring that all maintenance work meets safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will manage preventive and corrective maintenance through SAP S4 Hana, monitor energy and utilities usage, and support continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute maintenance schedules and plans in line with preventive maintenance strategies and production timelines.

  • Analyze equipment history and performance data to identify trends, optimize maintenance intervals, and improve asset reliability.

  • Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance during downtime and minimize operational disruptions.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, inspections, and equipment repairs.

  • Conduct post-maintenance evaluations to assess plan effectiveness and implement improvements.

  • Manage a master maintenance calendar based on equipment priority, resource availability, and operational demands.

  • Ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.

  • Oversee utilities and energy systems to promote efficient operations and cost control.

  • Participate in company-wide sustainability projects aimed at reducing energy, paper, water usage, and emissions.

  • Set up and update asset information, preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, and maintenance tasks in SAP S4 Hana.

  • Support breakdown, corrective, and preventive maintenance activities across all CAP Plc plants and outstations.

  • Generate and submit monthly energy and water consumption reports.

  • Contribute to Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives and engineering self-inspection programs.


Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance Engineering.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Proficiency in maintenance planning tools, especially SAP S4 Hana, is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent understanding of maintenance best practices and HSE standards.
