A major manufacturing company is looking to hire an experienced Human Resources Manager with a minimum of 5 years in HR positions. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, be a people-oriented person, capable of handling payroll, proficient in HR software, and computer literate. This role is based at their manufacturing facility in Lekki, and the selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and lead employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee performance management systems and conduct annual performance appraisals.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Handle employee relations issues and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Maintain HR records and prepare reports for management.
- Create and manage salary files using Success Factory software.
- Maintain accurate records of appointment orders and salary details of employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Capable of handling payroll.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
- Knowledge of SAP Success Factor would be a plus
