Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team.
- The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and implementing effective HSE policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, incidents, and training.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
- Conduct HSE training and awareness programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE role.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
