For this role…

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head, Human Resources & Admin to lead their HR and Admin teams in a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment. This role is critical in developing a robust and people-focused HR function that drives performance and aligns with our organizational growth. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building a strong, fun, and productive culture—less corporate, more heart—that empowers our team to achieve outstanding results.

Your responsibilities…

  • HR Strategy & Policy Development: You will develop and implement key HR strategies and policies that align with business objectives, people requirements, and best practices to support our continued growth.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Building: You will foster strong relationships with key operational stakeholders by ensuring a deep understanding of company-wide human resource policies, strategies, and initiatives.
  • Organizational Needs & Change Initiatives: You will proactively identify organizational needs, evaluate options, and drive necessary change initiatives to meet the evolving demands of our business.
  • Recruitment & Competency Solutions: You will enhance the recruitment strategy by implementing competency-based solutions to ensure we have the right people in the right roles at the right time.
  • Employee Experience & Workplace Culture: You will execute a comprehensive strategy to enhance the overall employee experience, including onboarding, career development, and workplace culture improvement.
  • Capacity Building & Learning Initiatives: You will champion capacity-building efforts through learning and development initiatives that address evident skill gaps and promote continuous improvement.
  • Data-Driven HR Decision-Making: You will utilize HRIS metrics and data intelligence to identify trends, drive decision-making, and implement improvements within the HR function.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Legal Expertise: You will maintain an in-depth understanding of labor relations, employment law, and standards to ensure the company’s compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Employer Branding & Talent Acquisition: You will lead efforts to build a competitive organization through employer branding initiatives to attract, acquire, and retain top talent.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: You will collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Admin, Finance, Internal Control, Commercial, Operations) to drive a seamless people strategy across the employee lifecycle.
  • External Networking & Market Knowledge: You will proactively build and maintain external networks within and outside the manufacturing industry to stay informed of market trends and bring innovative ideas to senior management.
  • HR Operations Oversight: You will oversee all HR operations, including health insurance, payroll administration, compensation/benefits management, and rewards programs.
  • Administrative Supervision: You will supervise the Admin team to ensure smooth operations in areas such as travel management, housekeeping, vendor management, and more.

The ideal candidate has…

  • 5-7 years of experience in human resources management, with at least some experience in a leadership capacity within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Proven experience in change management, performance management, coaching, employee engagement, and total rewards processes.
  • Strong belief in the power of culture, with a passion for developing and nurturing a positive, inclusive workplace environment.
  • An instinctive ability to engage people, foster diversity, and build teams that are driven by a shared purpose.
  • A leader who thrives on helping others learn, grow, and excel, with a focus on creating opportunities for leadership at all levels.

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, with attention to detail and numerical ability.
  • A data-driven decision maker and pragmatic problem solver who can identify root causes of issues and gain leadership support to address them.

Qualifications…

  • BSc or MSc in a related field (MBA is an added advantage).
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CIPM.
