Job Title: Graduate Project Engineer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Project Engineers to join our team. The successful candidate will support project execution activities, working collaboratively with technical and functional teams to drive successful planning, implementation, and completion of engineering projects in compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate functional and technical support to ensure efficient project execution.
- Apply execution planning methodologies and contracting strategies, including early engagement with technical teams.
- Monitor project timelines and milestones, ensuring activities are on schedule.
- Evaluate contractor performance, propose corrective actions, and support implementation of improvement plans.
- Participate in project reviews, audits, and workshops such as IPRs, CERs, and Execution Challenges.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Project Plans, Safety Plans (SHE), and Procurement Strategies.
- Support stage-gate transitions from pre-Gate 2 through project closeout while ensuring adherence to ExxonMobil standards.
About You
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any discipline).
- 0–3 years of experience in project management, execution, or facilities/production engineering.
- Knowledge of Project Management concepts and ExxonMobil’s project execution standards.
- Willingness to relocate as required by project assignments.
