Job Title: Data Analyst

Responsibilities
- Gather data from multiple sources such as databases, spreadsheets, surveys, and third-party datasets.
- Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability for analysis.
- Apply statistical techniques to analyze trends, uncover patterns, and generate actionable insights.
- Conduct data distribution analysis, correlation, and statistical significance testing.
- Maintain data integrity and quality through validation checks and audit trails.
- Execute data mining techniques to uncover hidden patterns and valuable business insights.
- Apply hypothesis testing and statistical evaluations to validate assumptions.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand business challenges and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Design interactive dashboards and reports using charts, graphs, and data visualization tools to effectively present key insights.
- Create predictive models and perform regression analysis to project future outcomes.
- Offer actionable insights and recommendations based on data findings.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and manage data from relational databases efficiently.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree / HND in a relevant field.
- Microsoft Office Specialist Certification in Excel.
- Proficiency in SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
- Proficient in data validation techniques, ensuring reporting accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all datasets.
- Hands-on experience in Python for data analysis.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
- Background knowledge of the FMCG industry is an added advantage.
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification.
