Creative Graphic Designer/ Brand Designer at Kalia Creative

The Role

We are seeking a talented Creative Graphic Designer/ Brand Designer on a contract basis to join our creative team at Kalia Creative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our brand’s and client’s visual identity across various digital platforms. You will create compelling graphics and visual content for social media, marketing materials, and other digital assets, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand’s voice and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Graphic Design:
  • Develop visually appealing graphics for social media posts, stories, ads, and other digital content.
  • Design marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, and email templates.
  • Create or update brand assets such as logos, typography, color schemes, and style guides.
• Brand Design:
  • Develop visual concepts and designs that align with a brand’s identity and meet the needs of clients and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with clients and marketing teams to ensure that designs accurately reflect the brand’s desired image and messaging
  • Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all projects and materials.
• Motion Graphics and Basic Animation:
  • Create basic animations and motion graphics for videos and social media content.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance visual storytelling.

Example Tasks

• Design a visually compelling pitch presentation for a client, incorporating brand assets, infographics to enhance the overall impact.
• Design a series of visually engaging graphics for a client for social media promoting a new product/ service. This includes creating post templates, story visuals, and ad creatives.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator.
• Experience in designing creative layouts for social media and other digital publications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing design needs and priorities.
