The Role

In summary, we are looking to add a Core Infrastructure Engineer to our team that is driven and skilled. You will be in charge of designing, implementing, and maintaining the servers, storage, networking, and security equipment that make up our company’s core infrastructure in this capacity.

Responsibilities

• You will also be crucial to the creation and execution of IT policies and procedures.
• Create and execute IT policies and processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain the organization’s fundamental infrastructure.
• Create and execute IT policies and processes.
• Offer users technical assistance.
• Diagnose and fix IT issues.
• Keep abreast on emerging IT technology.
• Work together on projects to enhance design and execution.
• Evaluate existing systems to guarantee compliance and best practices.
• Oversee the host environment, making sure it is properly tuned and has enough capacity.
• Contribute to company projects and exchange knowledge throughout the organisation.
• Oversee the movement of information between applications and the security of computer systems.
• Exhibit proficiency in the automation of infrastructure.
• Proficiency with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP; familiarity with Fortigate
• Firewalls, Supermicro Switches, and other pertinent infrastructure tools; and extensive experience with IT infrastructure technologies, such as servers, storage, networking, virtualisation, firewalls, switches, and software development.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar discipline is required.
• Five years or more of experience as a Core Infrastructure Engineer is required.
