In order to satisfy clients’ power needs in a variety of situations, its product lines include solar lighting systems, portable energy storage devices, home-integrated energy storage systems, and outdoor mobile power platforms.

We are hiring to cover the following position:

Position: Community Sales Manager
Where: Ikeja, Lagos
Type of Employment: Full-Time

Description of the Job

  • Working directly with funders, project teams, and community stakeholders, the Community Manager will play a crucial role in promoting our purpose.
  • Having a solid foundation in community involvement, you will be essential to our water installation projects’ sustainability and success.

 

Principal Duties:
  Advocacy and Community Involvement:

  • To guarantee a project’s successful completion, cultivate connections with local government organizations, leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Create and carry out community engagement initiatives to increase knowledge of the advantages of the project and water conservation.

 

Capacity Building and Training:

  • Plan community members’ training sessions and workshops on sustainable practices and water management.

 Documentation and Reporting:

  • Write thorough reports on the results of the project, the impact on the community, and the comments received.
  • Keep thorough records of all communications with stakeholders and community involvement initiatives.

Coordination of the Project:

  • Work together with project teams to guarantee that water facilities are installed successfully and on schedule.
  • Track the status of the project, respond to community concerns, and give stakeholders regular updates.

 

Communication Strategy:

  • Act as the main point of contact for questions and comments from the community.
  • Provide content to showcase stories of community impact via newsletters, social media, and other channels.

 

Expertise and Credentials

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, social work, community development, or a similar discipline.
  • Strong project management and organizing abilities.
  • An additional benefit is having experience in the following industries, Mining & Extractive Industries, FMCG, NGO, and Renewable Energy
  • It helps to have prior experience creating content and managing social media accounts.
  • Three years or more of experience in outreach, advocacy, or community management positions—ideally in the development or water industries.
  • Demonstrated capacity to establish and preserve solid bonds with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication skills both in writing and speaking.

 

Monthly salary:
N450,000.
