At Lendsqr, our constant thought is to provide all Africans with access to loans at the right time. The amazing tales we hear about people in industrialized nations are based on the fact that regular people can obtain loans to pay for their education, purchase their first homes, obtain credit cards, and even purchase cell phones. Because we lack access to credit or loans that would give us an advantage, most dreams in Nigeria and throughout Africa never come true.

Lendsqr is altering that narrative. For good!

By providing lenders with the technology, data, and services they require to start their digital lending at scale, Lendsqr has been transforming the way that everyone can obtain loans with ease over the past few years.

Leading online lenders increasingly rely on Lendsqr to power their lending systems, including Kredi Bank, Urgent10k, Irorun, and even Sterling Bank. But without dedicated, very intelligent individuals who have the same enthusiasm and vision for Africa, we cannot do all of this.

The Role

For internships, Lendsqr is seeking outstanding young individuals who are enthusiastic about pursuing careers in operational, administrative, and customer-related fields. In addition to offering the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and acquire useful skills and information that can be applied to a variety of career pathways, this fascinating employment offers invaluable practical experience in the financial technology sector.

Successful interns may be allocated to our Product Management, Product Support, Marketing, Engineering, Growth, and Finance teams, depending on their educational background.

Summer interns may complete their internship in as little as three months, SIWES interns in as little as six months, and Youth Corpsers in as long as a year.

To guarantee efficient staff management, we can only hire Nigerian residents at this time, even if we operate remotely.

Responsibilities

• Assist the different teams in supporting partners, clients, software, and other systems.
• Help with problem-solving and offer technical assistance
• Arrange and keep resources in order.
• Provide assistance in fields like data centre management, programming, analytics, and cybersecurity.

Requirements

• SIWES students or recent graduates, whether or not they have NYSC experience
• Must have at least a 2:1 in any subject of study and be no older than 23 on their last birthday.
• Has a keen interest in fintech and hopes to pursue a career in it.
• Interest and a history of tinkering

Proficiency and abilities

• Outstanding attention to detail and organising abilities
• Outstanding communication skills, both in writing and speaking
• Skills in analysis and problem-solving
• The capacity to work both alone and collaboratively, with a strong emphasis on deadlines and process
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Structure of pay and benefits

• Base salary
• Data bonus every month
• Graduate interns who performed well would be offered full-time positions.
