We are hiring to cover the following position:

 

Title of Position: Business Development Manager

Job description: 
Upstream, mid-level business development

  • Help create a long-term commercial relationship model for both new and current clients, including the oil and gas industry’s regulatory bodies IOC, DPR, NAPIMS, and NNPC.
  • Create a proposal or bid for the clients that includes the technical and commercial pre-qualifications for the project.
  • As needed, facilitate or support the strategy creation and real technical, commercial, and contractual negotiations with suppliers and customers.
  • Develop and keep up a thorough awareness of the market trends, drivers, business environment, and challenges that will affect the company’s operations.
  • Source for upcoming projects with clients thorough understanding of ongoing and upcoming major projects, as well as monitoring till revenue is made and rewarded
  • To produce real business, reactivate dormant client accounts and relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to determine the technical and commercial implementation requirements for potential projects.
  • Help with sourcing, packing, bidding on several platforms (before the deadline), and making sure that every bid is successful and completed perfectly.

Qualifications and Person Specifications

  • At least three to five years of experience in the oil and gas sector as a manager or business development officer.
  • Age range: 26–40 years.
  • Male or female sex.

Job Criteria:

  • Thorough understanding of major projects in the oil and gas industry’s upstream sector, both ongoing and planned.
  • Maintained strong, high-level relationships with IOCs and E&P businesses.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities.
  • Outstanding ability to gather intelligence.
  • Leadership attributes.
  • Knowledgeable in sophisticated Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Upstream business development experience combined with an engineering major or background.
  • Candidates should understand the business drivers for the major markets and have solid industry ties.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
