We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Benefits and Data Administration Manager
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

Pensions Administration:

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of contributions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate and share monthly statements with all members, in line with the Pension Reform Act.
  • Serve as a liaison with the Pension Fund Custodian on all contribution matters.

Benefit Administration:

  • Calculate all applicable benefits for exiting employees.
  • Coordinate and process death benefit claims in partnership with insurance providers, Legal, and HR teams.
  • Prepare benefit projections when required to assist decision-making or respond to member requests.

Pensioner Management:

  • Manage pension disbursements for both active and upcoming pensioners through the pensioners’ payroll.
  • Handle pension review calculations, provide updated pension amounts, and update the pensioners’ database as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date pensioner records and conduct annual physical verification exercises with custodians.

Database Management:

  • Maintain accurate records for members and pensioners in the database.
  • Ensure timely input and updates to the database as required.
  • Perform regular data reviews to validate and authenticate all records.

Communication & Engagement:

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any numerate discipline.
  • Possession of a professional certification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, or CISM is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in the pension industry is desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of the Pension Reform Act (2014).
  • Experience in benefits processing is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience, with at least 8 years in the financial sector and 4 years in a management position.

Skills:

  • Advanced presentation and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (knowledge of Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate is an added advantage).
