Job Title: Administrative Officer (Facility Management)
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the department’s annual budget.
- Negotiate and procure office supplies as needed, ensuring compliance with budget limits.
- Source and purchase office consumables and equipment at the most competitive prices while maintaining accurate usage records.
- Establish standards and procedures to develop and carry out office policies.
- Plan and coordinate to maintain overall office efficiency.
- Oversee maintenance and management of plant and machinery, including power generators on site.
- Supervise and ensure proper maintenance of the company’s facilities, equipment, and assets; coordinate with external maintenance personnel as needed.
- Oversee and evaluate the performance of support staff and customer service team members.
- Monitor and provide guidance to security personnel in securing the premises.
- Develop and manage a structured and easily accessible filing system.
- Establish and review criteria for vendor selection.
- Maintain and expand a network of reliable vendors and suppliers, ensuring product quality and negotiating competitive pricing.
- Conduct research to identify process improvements that enhance efficiency while controlling costs.
- Ensure prompt processing and payment of utility and domestic bills (e.g., DStv, internet, phone, waste disposal, PHCN, diesel, fuel) and manage updates for subscriptions and computer systems.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. degree; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Relevant professional certification.
- 3–4 years of proven experience in Facility Management, Procurement, and Administration.
- Female candidates only.
- Age range: 27–35 years.
